The end of the ‘10s – looking into the ‘20s… A decade of growth

“It’s the end of a decade, the beginning of a new era, let’s make it a decade to remember…” This was all I could see on social media a few days ago. And as much as I love new beginnings, fresh starts, blank pages, I started to feel anxious about it all. What have I done to make the last decade one to remember? What am I doing to prepare for this one? Should I be really thinking this much about it? – probably not, but sigh, welcome to my wild and creative mind!

So in order to make sense of it all, I tried to categorise my last decade and come up with some good stuff that helped me grow and become the person that I am today. Looking back, I went through a lot of changes during the last ten years, most of them miniscule ones, but all of them led up to this person writing today.

Over the coming few posts I will be going through these factors – looking back at what happened, and looking ahead at how I want to keep growing. Because, let’s be honest, no matter how old we get, we are still growing up, learning, doing stupid things and laughing at ourselves. And these are just factors in my life. Everyone has different focus points. If you wish to share your learning points during the last decade and what you are looking forward to in this one, let me know in the comments!
